My desktop loaded as per usual but I could not select ANYTHING on it. yesterday morning I started up and everything was normal. So, help us out and show us a picture of what you're looking at.I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-529 running XP Pro SP3. You have to actually go into the Resource Monitor to see the disk useage and in there it shows a read & write amounts in (B/sec). Just now opening task manager to check it made it go up to 99% but as im typing this it is going inbetween 0-4%ĭo us a favor and take a screen shot and post to an image hosting site (people like using the website imgur, for example) and posting a link here on the boards to your screen shot.Īs far as I'm aware, task manager doesn't show "disk" usage as a percentage. Other then that it can just happen randomly for short period like it can reach 97% for 5 seconds with something as simple as switching windows. I can't play games without it reaching 100%.
